WYNR has multiple meanings, but most importantly it's about our communal vibe that raises our tide, lifting potential in everyone. 

WYNR is the WYN republic triathlon racing team.

The true inspiration of this team comes from seeing each other in wynning action on a daily basis. Whether a WYNR breaking the tape in a race, or juggling two kids, a career, and Ironman training, we are here for mutual motivation.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: 

I am already a WYNR member. Do I need to reapply?: Yes, you are automatically eligible to return to WYNR BUT you must submit the application form to guarantee your place. We need to confirm your plans, get your feedback and up-to-date information.  

Is there a membership fee: Yes, there is a small annual membership fee that helps us cover WYNR event activation, meet up activities and other costs involved with running a global triathlon team. New member fees apply and returning members receive a discounted membership rate. These membership fees also unlock the following benefits.

What exactly do I get as part of the WYNR program: 

Included as part of your annual WYNR membership:

  • WYNR team t-shirt & cap

  • Access to exclusive WYNR limited edition race and training kit at a heavily discounted price.

  • Access to exclusive World Championship limited edition race suits

  • Access to on-going discounts on WYN & MALO republic items. 

  • Access to WYNR industry partner discounts. 

  • Access to WYNR team meet ups at events and team camps

  • Access to the WYNR exclusive Facebook page to interact with other team members. 

Will WYN republic/WYNR sponsor me? The WYNR program is an age-group based program ranging from beginners to elite amateurs. We treat everyone equally. We do not "sponsor" any athletes in this program. WYN republic has limited sponsorship budget to support a select few professional athletes. The WYNR program offers age-group athletes heavily discounted prices on official WYNR apparel and on-going discounts on WYN & MALO orders.

There is no free product available to WYNR athletes. 

Do I need to be fast to be a WYNR: No. We have a wide variety of athletes of all abilities. Whether you're an age group champion or a beginner, we want you on WYNR! 

What do we expect of WYNR members: First and foremost, interact and thrive off the community that is WYNR by attending at least one event in 2024. We'd also expect you to be a good spokesperson for WYN republic in your local triathlon community. Other expectations are:

  • Race exclusively in the WYNR 2024 team kit 

  • Introduce new people to WYN republic and encourage them to apply for WYNR 2024. 

  • Race clean and within the rules and set a good example to others

When is the first round deadline to apply for WYNR: WYNR 2024 applications will close SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 24th, 2023.

When will the WYNR 2024 team be announced: We will notify successful applicants by MONDAY OCTOBER 2nd, 2023

Can I be on multiple teams? No, if you accept your place on WYNR you may not be on any other industry teams. You may still race for your club team although unless the team wears a WYN republic branded race kit, we expect each WYNR member to race in the official WYNR kit.

Is there a minimum age requirement for WYNR: Yes, you must be at least 18 years of age as of December 31st 2023.
